Emergency response to be tested in Sofia

During a drill at 10 PM tonight, 31 January, in Sofia, the readiness to respond in an emergency and the preparedness will be tested of the control authorities and the reaction forces at a national and territorial level, the Interior Ministry has announced. In a real-life environment and in real time, practical action will be taken, in accordance with the drill scenario, with the participation of teams from the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Defence, Sofia municipality, emergency medical teams, the Bulgarian Red Cross etc. The Ministry of Interior has warned that there may be disruptions in traffic in the region of Sofia University and the St. Alexander Nevski cathedral tonight in connection with the drill.
