The rotation of the prime minister will take place, but not at any cost, GERB leader Boyko Borissov told journalists, commenting on the agreement with the PP-DB to replace the prime minister with the foreign minister in March. In his words, this will happen with the mandate of GERB-SDS. "There is a signed agreement and we will abide by it," Boyko Borissov added.

After yesterday's criticism of cabinet ministers, backed by MRF leader Delyan Peevski, the GERB leader today praised the ministers of transport, regional development, economy, education and culture.

For his part, Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov said that he and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel, who is to succeed him in office, had agreed to make minimal changes to the cabinet. Denkov said that the rotation would depend on whether there were guarantees for the implementation of the government's programme and the continuation of the country's pro-European course.
