New party enters National Assembly, parliamentary majority drops down to the minimum of 121

Velichie party enters the 51st National Assembly with 10 seats, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has decided following the ruling by the Constitutional Court which alters the results of the election for National Assembly held on 27 October, 2024. 16 current members of parliament are leaving the National Assembly, to be replaced by 16 other MPs.

GERB/SDS loses 3 seats and will now have 66 MPs, We Continue the Change/Democratic Bulgaria (PP/DB) loses 1 seat and will now have 36 seats, Vazrazhdane loses 2 seats and will now have 33 MPs, DPS-New Beginning, affiliated with Delyan Peevski, loses 1 seat and will now have 20 MPs, Bulgarian Socialist Party-United Left loses 1 seat and will have 19 seats, DPS-DPS, affiliated with Ahmed Dogan, keep their 19 seats, There Is Such a People (ITN) loses 1 seat and will have 17 MPs, MECH also loses 1 seat and will have 11 seats.

As a result, the ruling parliamentary majority drops down to the minimum of 121 votes.
