A liturgy of remembrance will be served on February 10 in the village of Baylovo on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the passing of Elder Dobri, the Holy Metropolis of Sofia announced. The service will be presided over by His Eminence Polycarp, Bishop of Belogradchik, vicar of the Metropolitan of Sofia and Bulgarian Patriarch Neophyte. Elder Dobri was born on July 20, 1914 in the village of Baylovo. He died on February 13, 2018 (aged 103) in Kremikovtsi Monastery.

People called him ‘’The Saint from Baylovo" because of his kindness, modesty, ascetic lifestyle and generosity. Almost every day, he would walk or take the bus to Sofia and collect money in front of St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral or the Seven Saints Church. Subsequently, he would donate the collected funds. In 2009, Elder Dobri donated 35, 700 BGN to St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral which is the biggest private donation in the history of the cathedral.
