A declaration was adopted at the Ukraine-Southeastern Europe summit in Tirana calling on the whole international community to strongly increase support to Ukraine. The declaration is signed by the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Nikolai Denkov, the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, the President of Moldova Maia Sandu, the President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović, the President of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski, the President of Serbia Alexandar Vučić, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, the Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto, the Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković and the Prime Minister of Romania Ion-Marcel Ciolacu.

The declaration calls Russia’s unprovoked military aggression against Ukraine “the greatest threat to the European security and international peace.” The signatories reiterate their “unwavering support for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders as of 1991 and remain committed to providing Ukraine with necessary support to prevail against the Russian war of aggression for as long as it takes in order to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in accordance with the UN Charter and on the basis of the Ukrainian Peace Formula” and state their readiness to take part in the forthcoming international peace conference in Switzerland.

The heads of 19 parliaments of European countries, among them the President of the Bulgarian National Assembly Rosen Zhelyazkov, urged Republican US House Speaker Mike Johnson to help fight "the axis of evil" and release a $60 billion aid package for war-torn Ukraine, AFP reports.
