A festive Sunday horo will take place today from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the center of Sofia on the occasion of the Bulgarian national holiday, March 3.
The event is part of an already traditional initiative. "There will be no stage, we will dance on the square,” organizer Tsetso Hristov told BNR-Radio Sofia. He hopes that at least 500 dancers will gather, as foreigners have also expressed their desire to join. “Put on your festive costumes and come join the horo! We have prepared a rich playlist," Tsetso Hristov invites everyone.
Similar events will also take place in other places across the world, with the participation of Bulgarian compatriots.
