Bulgaria expects Mariya Gabriel's decision on new cabinet

Today, GERB's nominee for prime minister, Mariya Gabriel, is expected to present to President Rumen Radev her final decision on the future and composition of the rotational cabinet. 

On Monday, March 18, she accepted the mandate to form a government from the president, accompanied by the rest of the GERB negotiating team, the co-chairman of PP, Kiril Petkov and Prime Minister in resignation Nikolai Denkov. 

Gabriel said that she would return the folder with the decision within 24 hours, although according to the constitution there is a 7-day deadline for doing this. "Bulgaria needs stability, but stability that is built on clear principles, publicity, shared responsibility and equality of those who should bear the responsibility for Bulgaria," Gabriel said.
