Bulgaria sends 100-strong contingent to NATO mission in Kosovo

A ceremonial send-off will be held in Yambol today for a military contingent of about 100 soldiers who will be carrying out tasks for the NATO Stabilisation Force in Kosovo (KFOR). The ceremony will take place at 10.30 a.m. in the central square in front of the municipality building. The contingent has completed its training at the 42nd Mechanised Battalion, Yambol, and has been officially declared "combat ready" by the Ministry of Defence.
