Government designates Bulgarian airlines for flights to China

The government has designated three Bulgarian carriers to operate international flights between Bulgaria and China.

Compass Cargo Airlines will operate scheduled cargo flights on the Sofia-Shanghai-Sofia, Sofia-Jengzhou-Sofia and Sofia-Shenzhen-Sofia routes with a maximum of seven frequencies per week.

Bulgaria Air JSC and Gulliver Airlines have been appointed to operate scheduled passenger and combined services on the Sofia-Beijing-Sofia and Sofia-Shanghai-Sofia routes. Bulgaria Air JSC will operate up to four frequencies per week, while Gulliver Airlines will operate up to three frequencies per week.
