Cloudy skies, brief showers expected on Sunday

Over the next 24 hours, the cloud cover over the eastern half of the country will be mostly significant and there will be short-term precipitation in many places. Over the western part, the clouds will be broken, and in some places there will also be showers and thunderstorms. Weak wind, in Eastern Bulgaria - moderate to strong north-easterly wind will blow. 

The minimum temperatures on Sunday will be between 7°C and 12°C, and highs will reach between 17°C and 22°C, in Sofia the minimum temperature will be around 8°C, the maximum - around 20°C.

Over the mountains, the clouds will be broken. Short-term rain with thunder will fall in some places, and snowfall is possible above 2,200 m. A moderate, sometimes strong north-easterly wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be about 12°C, at 2,000 m - about 5°C.

Cloudiness will be significant over the Black Sea coast and rain will fall in many places. A moderate and temporarily strong north-easterly wind will blow. The maximum temperatures will be between 15°C and 18°C, and the sea water – 11°C-14°C.
