As of 9 May until 10 June, 2024, a Ministry of Interior telephone hotline - 02 90 112 98 – and an email izbori@mvr.bg will be open round the clock for reporting violations and criminal acts in the election process. This additional option is part of the measures for effectively preventing crimes against the political rights of citizens, security and public order during the holding of the elections for members of the national parliament and members of the European Parliament, the Interior Ministry says.

“There are a number of conditions so the upcoming elections on 9 June will run smoothly,” Iva Lazarova from the Institute for Public Environment Development said for the Bulgarian news agency BTA. The same members of the Central Election Commission are organizing elections for the 6th time, and they have sufficient experience in administrating the election process, she added.
