Bulgaria to participate at Kobe 2024 Para Athletics World Championships

The Bulgarian National Paralympic Team is taking part in the Kobe 2024 Para Athletics World Championships in Japan. The event opened today and will continue until May 25, 2024. Among the participants are Ruzhdi Ruzhdi, Hristiyan Stoyanov and Fatme Ismail. 

They represented our country at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games in 2021, where Ruzhdi Ruzhdi and Hristiyan Stoyanov earned silver medals, the Bulgarian Embassy in Japan said on Facebook. "Let's support the Bulgarian athletes together and wish them success!", the Bulgarian Embassy in Japan said. The flag bearer of the Bulgarian delegation is Stela Eneva who became an Paralympic Vice-Champion at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing in the discus throw discipline. Se also won two silver medals at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London.
