An increase in the number of real estate transactions has been registered in Burgas and the surrounding area, experts say, as reported by BNR-Burgas. During the first 6 months of 2024, more than 5,000 transactions are expected in Burgas, Nessebar, Pomorie and Tsarevo. The buyers are mostly young people aged 25-30, who are able to pay off their mortgage in the space of 20-30 years. Around 10% of the buyers are foreigners, mostly from Poland, Israel, Germany, and a small share from Ukraine.

More and more often the demand is for more spacious and for gated community homes. According to statistics, the prices of homes in Burgas are in the EUR 900-1,000 per sq. m bracket in Madika residential area and EUR 1,400-2,000 in the city centre.
