The civic movement BOEC has submitted, to the State Agency for National Security (SANS), a report regarding the actions of Nikolay Georgiev Markov, purporting to be a colonel, formerly of the National Service for Protection, currently elected member of the National Assembly from Velichie party, BOEC has announced.

According to the report, on 16 June, 2023, Nikolay Markov posted the following text to a public Facebook page: “Every day I receive, through intelligence channels, dozens of videos of the export of all kinds of weapons to Ukraine. I do not post them online for many reasons. I send them, through a classified channel, directly to Moscow, for information and orders. I am doing my job, as you can see nothing stops me. But why are the structures of Vazrazdane keeping quiet on the matter? Don’t they see what is going on in their municipalities, or maybe they don’t have video cameras? Why aren’t they showing these things from the rostrum in parliament? Or in other ways? Do you see any resistance here?”

The Facebook page is authenticated with a photograph of Nikolay Markov, and according to public information, it is administered and authored by him, BOEC add and say they want SANS to check whether Velichie, of which Nikolay Markov is one of the leaders, is connected with activities benefiting Russia, and/or any economic, financial or any other general crimes.
