The first festival of sacred choral music begins in Sofia

In the days preceding the great Christian feast of Pentecost, the St. Sophia Church is hosting the first edition of the Festival of Sacred Choral Music "Trisvyatuyu pesn". It will be held between June 19 and 23. The event is organized by the Bulgarian Choir Union and the St. Sophia Church, with the support of the Holy Metropolis of Sofia. The festival will feature Bulgarian choirs from Sofia and the country, which will present a rich musical program of spiritual pieces.

The official opening of "Trisvyatuyu Pesn" will take place on June 19 (Wednesday) at 18:00 pm with a solemn service and a concert by the Mixed Choir of the St. Sophia Church, the Youth Choral Chapel at the Lyubomir Pipkov National Music School and Credo ensemble, conducted by Slavil Dimitrov.
