Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 20 June 2024

Yellow code for scroching heat across Bulgaria, excluding the Black Sea coast, on Thursday

On Thursday the weather in Bulgaria will be sunny and hot. Minimum temperatures will be between 17°C and 22°C, in Sofia 17°C. 

The mercury is expected to hit heights of 34°C to 39°C in the country, 34°C in the capital Sofia, lower along the Black Sea coast.

Along the Black Sea coast it will be sunny with northeast breeze in the afternoon. Air temperatures will be 28-31°C. The sea water temperatures are at 21-24°C. 

Over the mountains it will be sunny with a little cloud in the afternoon and moderate winds. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m altitude will be up to 28°C, at 2,000 m - up to 20°C.

On Friday and Saturday the weather will be unchanged.
