Weather forecast for 22 June

Heatwave continues with showers in the mountains

The night will be clear and quiet. Tomorrow will be sunny and hot with maximum temperatures between 34°C and 39°C, slightly lower in Eastern Bulgaria, around 34°C in Sofia.

In the mountains it will be mostly sunny, with temporary clouds in the afternoon. There will be brief showers and thunderstorms in some places in western Bulgaria. Light to moderate winds will blow from the east-northeast. The maximum temperature will be around 28°C at 1,200 metres and around 21°C at 2,000 metres.

The Black Sea coast will have sunny skies and moderate east-northeast winds. Maximum temperatures will be 26°C-28°C. The sea temperature will be 24°-25°C. The sea swell will be 2-3.
