Rain and hail expected over the western regions of Bulgaria

During the next 24 hours, cumulus clouds will develop again over the western half of the country. At night, there will be short-term rainfalls and thunderstorms in many places. There are conditions for hail and local intense phenomena are expected. In Eastern Bulgaria, it will be mostly sunny during the day, with more clouds in the afternoon. There will be moderate northeasterly wind. The highest temperatures will be between 29° and 34°C, in Sofia – around 27°C.

It will be mostly sunny at the Black Sea coast. The highest temperatures will reach 27°-29°C. The temperature of the sea water is 24°-25°C.

Over the mountains in Western and Central Bulgaria, cumulus clouds will develop and there will be brief, temporarily intense showers and thunderstorms. The highest temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 20°C; at 2000 meters - around 13°C.
