An orange code warning for dangerous precipitation has been issued for seven districts in Central Bulgaria. From midnight on Wednesday, precipitation and the risk of hail will move from the west to central and south-western Bulgaria. After noon, the clouds will break and decrease, leading to sunnier conditions in the southwest. Lows will be between 14°C and 23°C, with Sofia at 15°C. Highs will be between 23°C and 28°C, with the capital reaching 24°C.

Rain will fall on the Black Sea coast, with a risk of hail in southern areas. Air temperatures will reach 26-28°C, almost the same as sea temperatures - 25-26°C. The sea swell will be moderate at 2.

In the mountains it will be cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, especially intense in the Rilo-Rhodope area. Maximum temperatures will reach 19°C at 1,200 metres and 13°C at 2,000 metres.

On Thursday the sun will return, although in the afternoon it will become cloudy again over southern and eastern Bulgaria. Showers are expected over the Western Rhodopes, Rila and Pirin.
