At 11.00 a.m. today, President Rumen Radev will hand over a mandate to form a government to the candidate for prime minister, nominated by the second largest parliamentary group in the 50th National Assembly - that of "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB).

The PP-DB has already announced that it will immediately return it unfulfilled. They took this decision after it became clear that they could not join forces with other parliamentary groups to form a majority in parliament.

The third mandate is handed to a parliamentary force of the president's choice.

The parliamentary forces are of the opinion that a government with a third mandate is very difficult to implement and that Bulgaria is once again heading towards elections.
