Bulgarian President Rumen Radev congratulated the president and the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia on the occasion of the national holiday - Republic Day, marked on Ilinden (St. Elijah day).
"The self-sacrifice of the heroes of the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie Uprising carries through time the memory, which will forever connect Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia and their citizens," Rumen Radev said in his congratulatory address.
