Exhibition showing gold and silver treasures found in Bulgaria opens in Balchik

The exhibition "Tales of Gold and Silver" of the National History Museum, prepared for the 100th anniversary of the State Cultural Institute "Cultural Center The Palace - Balchik" (formerly the summer residence of Queen Marie of Romania), was officially opened today in the coastal city of Balchik. The exposition features some of the most significant treasures discovered in Bulgaria, including 61 items made of gold and solver and two replicas, BTA reported.

The exposition consists of items that have never been displayed before, as well as items that have been recently added the collection of the National History Museum. Visitors can see the famous treasure of the Thracian priestess from the mound at Sinemorets. The exhibition also features the accidentally discovered Preslav Treasure. The exhibition also shows the Treasure of Nagyszentmiklós and others. It can be viewed until October 14.
