Weather report for Bulgaria for 6 September 2024

Warm weather with occasional showers expected on Bulgaria's Unification Day

On Friday, it will be mostly sunny in most areas of the country. In the afternoon, cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop, and mainly in the south-western half of the country there will be brief showers of rain with thunder. 

The maximum temperatures will be between 28°C and 33°C, in Sofia – around 29°C.

Sunny weather will prevail in the mountains. Moderate wind from the east-northeast will blow, on the high parts from the northwest. The maximum temperature at a height of 1,200 m will be about 23°C, at 2,000 m - about 16°C.

It will be mostly sunny along the Black Sea coast. Cloudiness will be significant over the northern coast before midday and there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places, with moderate wind from the north-northeast The maximum temperatures will be between 27°C and 29°C, and the sea water will be at 26°C-27°C.
