Weather forecast for 19 September

Cloudy with showers in the south-west and north-east

Most of the country will be cloudy on Thursday. Showers will occur in the afternoon in the south-west and in isolated places in the north-east. Minimum temperatures will range from 9°C in the west to 15°C in the east, 12°C in Sofia. Highs will be between 20 and 25°C, with 20°C in the capital. 

Along the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy with local rain showers in the evening. Air temperatures will be 22-25°C, close to seawater. Swell will be 2-3. 

Over the mountains it will be cloudy with afternoon showers in the southwest. Snow will fall on the highest peaks of Rila and Pirin. The maximum temperature will reach 16°C at 1,200 m and 8°C at 2,000 m.

On Friday there will be considerable cloud cover, with morning fog in the valleys. Rain will fall in the southeast.
