Despite the bad weather, dozens of children and their parents took part in an initiative for making toys for the Christmas decoration of the capital city.
At the initiative of Sofia municipality, a workshop was put up in the square in front of Alexander Nrevski cathedral where children were able to make their own contribution to the Christmas decorations of Sofia. The initiative will take place in other towns as well – on Sunday the Christmas workshop will be in Plovdiv, then in Stara Zagora, Burgas, Varna, Pleven, Vratsa, Sandanski and Blagoevgrad. It will be back in Sofia on 21 and 22 December for the grand finale with lots of gifts and fun for the children. A special letter box for Father Christmas will be put up for the children to send their letters to him.
