Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Fifteen Bulgarians will leave Syria at the first opportunity

The safe departure of 15 Bulgarian nationals who have requested to leave Syria will be ensured at the first opportunity, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. The Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Damascus is in constant contact with the Bulgarian citizens and their family members.

The Bulgarian authorities recommend that Bulgarians in Syria stay at their homes until the situation returns to normal. According to official data, there are 71 Bulgarian citizens residing in Syria.
