President Rumen Radev's consultations with parliamentary groups continue. Today, he will meet representatives of the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (led by Ahmed Dogan), There is Such a People (ITN) and MECH. Radev has already held talks with GERB-SDS, We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB), Vazrazhdane and BSP - United Left.

President Radev did not invite Delyan Peevski's DPS - New Beginning parliamentary group to the consultations. The PP-DB is trying to form a "cordon sanitaire" around Peevski, who has been sanctioned for corruption under the Magnitsky Act.
After the consultations, the head of state will set the date for giving the first exploratory mandate to the largest parliamentary group - GERB-SDS - to form a government.
