Sunny weather in Western and Central Bulgaria

On Wednesday, the weather in Western and Central Bulgaria will be mostly sunny. There will be significant cloud cover in the southeasternmost regions. The lowest temperatures will range from minus 1°C to 4°C, higher in Eastern Bulgaria, for Sofia around 0°C. The maximum temperatures will range from 12°C to 17°C, for Sofia around 11°C.

In the mountains, the cloud cover will break up and decrease to mostly sunny weather. There will be moderate westerly and southwesterly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 10°C, at 2,000 meters – around 3°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, the cloud cover will break up and decrease to mostly sunny weather. There will be light to moderate southerly and southwesterly wind. Daytime highs will range from 10°C to 15°C. The seawater temperature will be 8°C to 9°C. Sea state 2-3.

It will be mostly cloudy in the Balkans with a chance of rain showers along the Adriatic coast and in some places on the Greek islands. In the central and northeastern parts of the Balkans, the cloud cover will break up and temporarily decrease to sunny weather.
