"The governance program will be discussed later this week at a meeting of the Council of Ministers, and I hope it will address all questions and expectations from the public'', announced Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov.

He also commented on the 2025 draft budget: ''In the income policy, we are guided by clear criteria – protecting incomes from inflation, increasing incomes, which is in line with the policy of not increasing the tax and insurance burden. For the current year, we have been guided by the bill that we must pay for the imprudent financial policy of past years, particularly 2024. We are starting 2025 with a deficit of 10 billion BGN. That’s a 3% deficit. This bill needs to be paid this year’’, said Rosen Zhelyazkov.

"The cabinet consists of right-wing parties, and a left-wing party, and as such, it must govern under very clear terms of consensus", Premier Zhelyazkov said.
