In a bright and memorable exhibition titled "Imagination is My Blood Stream" at the Sofia City Art Gallery, artist Emil Stoychev presents his works to celebrate his 90th birthday. For the past 30 years, he has divided his time between Paris and Sofia, continuing to create art to this day.

With his unique style, Stoychev creates paintings that evoke a story, a parable or a dream born out of reality. His works transform into a rebus, a field of meaning where images suddenly appear, imbued with intense psychological depth. "There must be a secret in a painting," says Stoychev himself.

The exhibition is open to the public until May 6, 2025.
