The strategic target is for this percentage in this age bracket to reach around 40 percent by 2020. In the 24-54 category, people with university degrees also account for around one third of the population and people with a secondary school education – for around 54 percent. People with university degrees in the 28 EU member countries account for around 40 percent of the population.
