Police ready to continue protests during Bulgarian Presidency of Council of EU

There hasn't been a serious response to the calls of police trade unions for 4 months and it is absolutely normal for us to continue to exercise our right to protest, head of the police trade union federation, Valentin Popov said in an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio. Mr. Popov pointed out that salaries in the Ministry of Interior must be urgently raised and the law for the ministry changed. He added that challenges during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of EU will be great and money allocated for the police was insufficient and that was why protests would continue.
