Chairman of NATO Military Committee visits Bulgaria

Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, General Petr Pavel, has arrived for a visit to Bulgaria. As purpose of the visit the general pointed out gathering of security details about the region and discussion of actions to counter modern threats. The guest had talks with Defense Chief General Andrei Botsev and Deputy Defense Minister Atanas Zapryanov. Mr. Zapryanov commented that after the NATO summit in Wales the alliance is more adapted to the challenges and threats of the day.
