Organizing concerts and music festivals during the summer months is a tradition especially in resort towns. That is how tourists get a "cultural bonus" during their vacation and participants enjoy audience of different nationalities. Among the established forums in Bulgaria is the International Folklore Festival “Atlimanska Ogarlitsa” (Atliman Necklace), held in the Bulgarian Black Sea resort town of Kiten. Our forefathers have left us a thousand-year history, showing the heritage of several different cultures. We are glad to welcome the teams in this exotic place on the Southern Black Sea Coast where the Atliman Bay and its beautiful and clean beach are located. The festival is part of the Calendar of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism. The stage appearances of the participants are evaluated by an authoritative jury, chaired by Prof. Dr. Lozanka Peicheva - a folklorist and musicologist.
