Bulgaria among five most preferred tourist destinations for Russian citizens: Minister Angelkova

Bulgaria is among the five most preferred tourist destinations for Russian citizens. Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin discussed in Moscow important steps aimed at boosting tourist flow from Russia to Bulgaria against the backdrop of the current geopolitical situation and the competition from countries like Turkey and Egypt, Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova told media in Moscow. Bulgaria offers high-quality tourism product, especially in the field of family and children’s tourism, Minister Angelkova noted.  According to National Geographic Traveller, Bulgaria still ranks first among the most preferred family vacation destinations.
