Bulgaria is working on the implementation of key projects that will make the country an indispensable energy factor. This became clear from the statement of the Minister of Energy Zhecho Stankov at the Sixth Delphi Forum in Washington. Part of this policy are this country's efforts to strengthen national and regional energy security through connectivity and the introduction of new, innovative technologies in the energy sector.

Stankov joined a round table with the participation of large American companies and invited them to invest in Bulgarian energy. He spoke personally with representatives of American giants - Microsoft, Blackstone, Honeywell, General Electric, Caterpillar and others. During the talks, he pointed out the territory around the nuclear power plant Kozloduy, as the most suitable place for the development of artificial intelligence and data centers from the point of view of security of supply.
