The 2019 tourist season has been extremely controversial for Bulgaria, according to the Association of Bulgarian Tour Operators and Travel Agents. Poland is also seriously moving forward and is the third most important market for Bulgaria. Outbound tourism in Bulgaria is up 6% and the upward trend continues for the tenth consecutive year. The top foreign destination for Bulgarians is Greece - 28%, followed by Turkey with 14%.
