Prime Minister Boyko Borisov thinks Russian President Putin was badly informed about Bulgaria

Everyone has the right to look for alternative routes, as we are looking for alternative diversification, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said in response to the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin that Bulgaria was deliberately delaying the construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline. Some do not like that Bulgaria is a loyal NATO ally. I don't want to talk about what President Putin said. We have guarantees from the EU and the US that Bulgaria would be a gas distribution hub. I do not believe that Serbia would build their part of the pipeline faster. There is no delay caused by Bulgaria. Our country complies with all EU requirements and procedures, unlike countries such as Serbia, Russia or Turkey. President Putin's information might be old, as Bulgaria is building 4-5 kilometers of Turkish Stream every day, PM Borisov said.
