3 out of 4 Bulgarians are following the coronavirus information in this country and around the world with increased interest, according to a study by Alpha Research Agency. The limited number cases in Bulgaria is somewhat reassuring to the respondents. 75% of Bulgarians are optimistic that the epidemic will soon disappear. Only 11 percent are worried about the COVID-19 situation. The highest levels of anxiety are registered among young people. The group of the elderly who are also the group at the highest risk is the least worried. This is explained by the greater mobility of young people and the lower activity of the elderly. 67% approve of the measures taken by the authorities. 19 per cent want them more stringent, while 14 per cent say measures are too stringent.
