Departure and arrival of trains has been temporarily stopped at the Central Station in Sofia, as they will be allowed at later stages. All intercity buses have also stopped servicing their lines to and from Sofia. Traffic in the capital is normal and urban transport functions normally, Mayor Yordanka Fandakova said.

The situation in the Filipovtsi and Fakulteta areas, where the highest number of COVID-19 cases has been registered, is normalizing. There is no tension, despite stricter measures there. The situation is unusual, but it is dictated by the behavior of many of our fellow citizens, as we must realize that our responsibility is of great importance, the mayor said.
