31 new Covid-19 cases registered over the past 24 hours

31 new coronavirus cases have been registered in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, 16 of them have been hospitalized, announced General Ventsislav Mutafchiyski, head of the National Crisis Staff at the regular briefing on Monday morning.

Compared to yesterday, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country is up by 3.5%, and now stands at 915. Of these cases 705 are active. Another 7 medical workers have been infected, bringing the total number of medical staff with coronavirus up to 76, or 8.3 % of all coronavirus cases in the country.

Another 6 patients have recovered over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19 up to 167. One more person has died over the past 24 hours, and the death toll now stands at 43.
