63 is the number of newly registered coronavirus cases in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, a 5.4% increase in the number of new cases, General Ventsislav Mutafchiyski, head of the National Crisis Staff announced at Saturday morning’s regular briefing.
The biggest number of confirmed new cases is in Pleven – 19, 7 are from Misia factory and 5 have been in contact with workers at the factory. The number of newly registered cases in Sofia is 16, in Vidin - 7, Blagoevgrad - 5, Burgas - 4, Kyustendil and Stara Zagora– 3 each, Silistra - 2, and in Pazardzhik, Pernik, Plovdiv and Yambol – 1 each.
The total number of people diagnosed with Covid-19 in the country is now 1,234, the active cases - 983. 54 Covid-19 patients have died, 197 have recovered.
