Bulgaria sees drop in number of new Covid-19 cases, total number at 1290

In the past 24 hours, 56 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Bulgaria. The total number of infections is now 1290, the chief of the National Operational Headquarters reported at the morning Covid-19 briefing on April 26. 

People who are actively sick amount to 1030, with 292 patients in hospitals and 37 of them in intensive care. 
With 3 new cases in Sofia, the total number of infected medics in Bulgaria is 138
The number of recovered patients so far is 205, as in the past 24 hours 8 new patients have been released from hospital.
The death toll of Covid-19 is 55, as in the past 24 hours there has been one new fatality - an 81-year-old man with comorbidities treated in a Sofia-based hospital.
