U.S. Ambassador to Sofia Herro Mustafa announced that the United States has donated funds to Bulgaria through the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for buying diagnostic equipment for COVID-19.
The equipment uses nuclear technology to quickly detect coronavirus presence. In addition to the equipment, Bulgaria will also receive diagnostic kits, biological protection materials, probes and laboratory boxes to safely analyze the collected samples, Ambassador Mustafa added.
