In compliance with all anti-epidemiological measures, and especially – for keeping distance, by order of the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova the Sofia City Library has opened doors. Readers have the opportunity to borrow books, but not to use the reading rooms of the library.

The Museum of the History of Sofia opens its doors on May 18, and the Sofia City Art Gallery - on May 19.

The municipality, together with its partners, will provide Sofia artists with 20 outdoor stages for performances and concerts. In order to guarantee physical distance, they will be allowed to hold events with occupancy of 30 percent of the maximum capacity.

Eighteen permanent or mobile outdoor stages are also available in the different districts of Sofia, and many cultural events will be organized near the municipal cultural institutes, adapting the park environment.

The Sofia Zoo has started to welcome visitors again. The management of the zoo urges visitors to observe all safety measures. It is recommended to use personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, disinfectants, etc.), keeping a distance of at least 2.5 m.
