Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria number 2292, deaths up to 116

33 new cases of Covid-19 have been identified in the last 24 hours thus bringing the total number of coronavirus infections to 2,292, the National Operational Headquarters for Combating Coronavirus announced. The new cases are: 12 in Sofia, 4 in Pleven, 3 cases in Blagoevgrad, Vidin, Pazardzhik, Sliven and Yambol each, and 2 cases in Vratsa. 

285 patients are currently in hospitals, 33 of them are in intensive care. 
For the second consecutive day, the number of recovered patients exceeds the number of new infections - 38 patients. 
1432 new samples were taken in the past 24 ours. as the total number of tests carried out in Bulgaria has reached 68,243. This makes 9,749 tests per 1 million people. 
There have been 4 new fatalities in the past 24 hours, bringing the country's coronavirus death toll to 116. The last fatalities are a 71-year-old man in Sofia's Pirogov hospital, a 92-year-old woman in Sofia's Sveta Anna Hospital, a 53-year-old man who died in the hospital in Targovishte, and a 36-year-old man in the hospital in Yambol.
