Updated anti-epidemic measures in place on June 15

In the period June 15 to June 30, according to orders by Minister of Health, Kiril Ananiev, wearing a mask or other protective equipment remains mandatory in public transport, public facilities, shops, pharmacies and medical institutions. In all other public places, wearing a mask is recommended.

The requirements for disinfection and hand hygiene, non-admission to work premises of persons with manifestations of acute respiratory diseases, observance of a distance of 1.5 meters between people who are not family members, and remote work where applicable, remain in force.

After discharge from hospital, those diagnosed with Covid-19 are now subject to 14 days of quarantine. The 28-day mandatory isolation orders issued by June 15 are revoked by order of the directors of the regional health inspectorates after the expiration of a 14-day quarantine and a negative result for Covid-19. Visits to hospitals are not allowed.

Outdoor and indoor sports events are held with number of spectators not exceeding 50 percent of the capacity of the facility and empty seat between each of the spectators.

Congresses, conferences, seminars, exhibitions and cultural and entertainment events, including theater plays, concerts, stage performances can be held with occupancy not exceeding 50 percent of the maximum.
