Greece has dropped the mandatory quarantine requirements for Bulgarian citizens, Bulgaria’s Chief Directorate Border Police announced. EU nationals are allowed to cross Kulata, Ilinden, Makaza, Kapitan Petko Voivoda and Ivaylovgrad border checkpoints freely. However, random testing for Covid-19 is made. The border crossing Zlatograd-Thermes remains closed. The entry ban on non-EU citizens remains. Traffic via the Bulgaria-Greece checkpoints is intense. Romania has also dropped mandatory quarantine for Bulgarian citizens entering this country. Traffic at the main border checkpoints with Romania, Turkey and Serbia is normal. Foreign nationals travelling by personal vehicles and busses are banned from entering the Republic of North Macedonia. Those who exit North Macedonia can use Gyueshevo-Deve Bair border crossing only.
