Easing of measures against Covid-19 is obviously related to rise in the number of new infections. This is the natural course of the epidemic as it continues. It will not be possible for everything to calm down in a few months and for us to say that we liquidated the epidemic, Acad. Bogdan Petrunov said. This is confirmed by the rising number of new infections worldwide, the academician added. According to Petrunov, the epidemic is now developing in separate nests and regions. But Bulgaria is a small country and due to close contacts the virus will be more widespread in comparison to the previous month, he said.
