117 new Covid-19 cases, first case of infected BNR employee in Blagoevgrad

117 new cases of persons infected with Covid-19 have been identified in the country over the past 24 hours with 1,360 tests performed. The total number of infections since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 3,872 people, according to the Unified Information Portal. Compared to the previous day, there is an increase of 36 new cases more. 

There are 6 new fatalities. With them, the total number of victims of the infection has reached 199 people. 

There are currently 322 patients in hospital, 13 of whom are in intensive care units. 

19 persons have been cured of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The number of people cured so far is 2,027. 

The first case of coronavirus infection has been confirmed in Radio Blagoevgrad, one of the BNR's regional programmes. PCR tests have been performed on all employees of the Radio and Television Center.
